St Anne’s Camerata Sept-Oct 2018
It has been a busy couple of months for the St Anne’s Camerata, with three very different events. I couldn’t be more proud of this project, which comprises student scholars from the university, professionals, and crucially, auditioned exhibitioners from Oxfordshire schools. It is an intentionally small group (15-20 players), but already mighty in both ambition and achievements!
1. In-house celebration of music at St Anne’s College (22.09.18), featuring
Sibelius Romance in C, Op.42, Richard English Flight, Elgar Elegy, Op.58, Martyn Harry Come, Spring, Thomas Hyde Flip Flops, Grieg Two Elegiac Melodies, Op.34
2. Mahler Symphony no.1, with Ensemble Reis (19.10.18. University Church)
3. Featuring in the Faculty of Music (Oxford) birthday concert for Robert Saxton (2.11.18. Holywell Music Room)
